welcome, and thanks for stopping by!  this blog is the story of our family - myself, my husband lou and our two pups. we document our style, food, home and travel adventures. and then i mix it all up with advice, personal musings and ridiculous photos of dogs dressed to the nines. read more about each of us here if you'd like. cheers!

a dreamy home tour

we've made zero progress on the house since this, but that doesn't mean i haven't been fantasizing about it like crazy!  and when i stumbled across this house tour i think the pangs of jealousy i felt compared to appendicitis.  i've never had it but it's what i imagine.   isn't it bright, cozy and lovely?   and that brass & leather stool has been on my wishlist since last year.  living vicariously my friends....  xx- sarah

A huge mirror is a must. I grew up in a house where there was always one (my grandmother is a dressmaker) and I couldn't imagine living without it.

Absolutely stunning! So clean + open. I could definitely see myself living here... and working here... and creating here. :)

I really like the little mismatched frames next to your mirror, I think photos and artwork really make a house into a home!
